And the winner is…
By now you should know what has been headline gaming news. Diablo 3 has been announced and is coming to the PC pretty soon if the gameplay trailers are anything to go on.
It will feature the Havok physics engine and an extensive graphics overhaul, destructible environments which can assist or hinder progress, a longer quest-cycle and then most of the best parts of the original two greats, Diablo and Diablo II.
Also coming, but overshadowed at this point are Crysis Warhead, which will put players in the role of Psycho in a parallel storyline from the island and will feature new weapons and multiplayer content. We can expect it at the end of this year.
And on the horizon is also the new Call of Duty, going by the name World at War. Also expected at year-end, we are looking at this one to expand on COD4 and hopefully improve in some respects what with having to compete with Battlefield: Bad Company on the console.
